To lead a HR Operations team of c.6 (HR Assistants and HR Administrators) to provide high standards of support for the entire employee lifecycle within the HR function and for our employees across EMEA (UK, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium and Germany).

You will:

* Lead, develop and engage the HR Operations Team, ensuring the highest standard of support are provided to the business
* Responsible for building the capabilities of the HR Operations Team, their performance and development
* Drive team performance by developing, delivering and monitoring key service level agreements across the department
* Be responsible for day to day decisions around the running of the HR Operations team
* Build and implement a plan to instil a customer centric mind set in the team
* Support the HR Operations team by managing escalations as and when they arise
* Create and deliver the roadmap for continuous improvement in everything we do, whilst encouraging contributions from team members to provide ideas and input
* Own the plan for the development of our HR practices and processes (e.g. Rulebook) working in collaboration with the wider HR function with a strong focus on compliance

* Create the framework for driving consistency in ways of working across multiple countries, whilst recognising when this needs to flex to meet the needs of the business and whilst respecting local cultures and legislative differences

* Partner with the Payroll Manager to ensure the HR Operations team work collaboratively with the Payroll team and that we create alignment between the two areas

* Partner with the Head of HR Operations and wider HR team in the delivery of HR projects (e.g. pay review support, data required for our employee engagement survey) to ensure the needs of the business and local HR teams are met

* Responsible for ensuring the data in our HR systems is maintained and that we are maximising the functionality within the tools that we have to create efficiencies and drive automation
* Work with the HR Leads to deliver successful deployment into new countries, ensuring full compliance from a HR Operations perspective
* Product analysis and insights using HR management information, working with the Reward team

To be considered for this role you will have:

* Previous experience of with dealing with employee relations cases
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong analytical skills
* Innovative and able to propose solutions to problems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to flex approach to audience
* Able to bring across “best practice” from a similar environment would be an advantage
* Able to build effective working relationships at all levels to ensure the HR department is seen as approachable, responsive, supportive and reliable
* Familiarity with HR and Payroll systems
* Languages would be advantageous
* Knowledge of EMEA legislation
