Our client based in Manchester city centre is currently recruiting for an experienced Operations manager in their HR shared services team, With overall resposnibility of the Shared services centre with direct line management of 4 reports inclduing the HRSS team leader and HR System managers. The HRSS covers all areas of the HR business including payroll – Managing team performance to ensure service levels are achieved and maintained. As the HRSS Operations manager the role will oversee the year end payroll processes as well as managing change projects withi the service centre. The role of the HR & Payroll Operations manager will challenge the BAU and be able to lead in a service delivery focussed HR function.


Working with the Heads of HR, Reward and L&D in delivering and the development of core people processes

Overseaing the HR Admininstration and payroll function and ensuring the timely deleivery and adherance to the agreed service levels

Providing timely and accurate HRMI and delivery to th ewider business

Involvement in implementation and change projects

Full responsibility for the HRSS operations

Skills required

Experience of working within a partner led firm

Delivery of commercial advice to the wider and international parts of the business

Experience of Leading in a HRSS centre with operational responsibility

Previous Operations management experience preferably with a HR/ Payroll capacity
