Our national legal services client are currently looking for an experienced Legal Training & Development Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The Legal Training & Development Manager will report into the Operations Director and will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing training strategy across the organisation, as well as the following:

* Design and delivery of innovative training programmes and material across a variety of platforms both for digital and offline use, the training will include technical, systems and process training
* Design and delivery of an engaging company Induction programme, ensuring that all new employees are given the useful information and tools for the job to prepare them for their new career
* Conducting regular Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in order to an implement an effective training and development plan
* Coaching and mentoring all trainees and apprentices to ensure that they are on track with studies/assignments
* Preparing training sessions, refresher training and updates for employees as requested
* Reviewing, updating and amending all training material as required
* Monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness and ROI
* Liaising with external providers, apprenticeships providers and regulatory bodies
* Guaranteeing that all training is relevant and timely to ensure compliance as requested by governing bodies
* Researching, implementing and training on new updates, requirements and processes
* Working with the HR team to roll out a new appraisal scheme

In order to be considered for this position extensive working knowledge of the legal sector with particular reference to conveyancing is required as well as the following:

* Proven experience as a Training Manager in a similar environment
* Experience of the full training lifecycle – from concept through to implementation and facilitation
* Proficiency in using both traditional and modern training methods (e-learning, on-the-job training, classroom based, coaching, workshops etc.)
* Extensive knowledge and experience in conveyancing is essential
