Portfolio HR is currently working with a client based in St Albans. This is an opportunity to work for a retail company where you are able to learn new processes. The client is looking for an HR administrator to join their rapidly expanding team. This is a newly created HR role where candidate are able to undertake areas of payroll.
* Act as the first point of contact for all HR admin queries. Understand circumstances and escalating issues to HR/Payroll Manager when necessary.
* Arrange a full on boarding process for all new starters from generating contracts, organising references and making sure the new starter are settled in.
* Providing ad-hoc reports from the database to the internal stakeholders upon request
* Experience in looking after a medium size volume of employees.
* High attention to detail with a willingness to learn more on the payroll side.
* Responsible for inputting information on the payroll from start to finish.
* Regularly liaising with HR/Payroll Manager for all team related information.
* Must be advanced in numerical and literacy
* Have an adaptable personality
* Must have HR admin experience
* CIPD qualification (HR) – Desired not required
